Who Was Irene Bernasconi?

She hailed from Argentinia and direct a daring and thrilling biological expedition to the continent Antarctica in the year 1968. She is a true example of women’s empowerment and feminism. Starfish was one of her beloved and favourite specimens for research. Now the came into the limelight and her highlighted many people began to search about her and what kind of experiment she had done which provided her with this much attention, honour and now limelight. Before talking about her, we would like to say that this woman wrote her name in golden ink in the history of Biology and true example of a role model. Who Is Irene Bernasconi? She was born on 29th September 1896, in La Plata, Argentina. She began her career in the year 1918 and began working as an educator she specialised in the studies of natural science prior to getting a position at the museum named Argentine Museum of Natural Sciences in the 1920s. Now, this gave her a chance to purify her academic career which direct to her issuing a scientific work on marine and molluscs invertebrates in the year 1925 over her whole career when other women were busy with other things she gave her 5 decades studying creatures.
