Steve Sisolak and his wife while they were having dinner at a Vegas restaurant was posted on the 4chan website, where trolls have been waging an online war against the Democratic governor.

Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak and his wife, Kathleen Sisolak, were eating at a restaurant in Las Vegas on Saturday when a man assaulted the governor, striking him repeatedly outside Luxor casino. The assailant was arrested by police and was charged with two felony counts of battery — although some social media users found this funny. Many people had been waiting in line for over two hours to meet the governor and shake his hand at a Mexican restaurant in Las Vegas. Despite being a political figure, Steve Sisolak remained approachable while shaking the voters’ hands. A man suddenly yelled out and mocked the attendees, eventually pushing the Governor before being escorted away by police.
